# TelegramRadar

> TelegramRadar is a multilingual directory of public Telegram channels, groups and bots. It lists 22,948 approved channels and groups and 2,726 approved bots across 14 categories, with an interface in 6 languages. Free to browse, free to submit.

## What TelegramRadar is

TelegramRadar is a catalogue of *public* Telegram resources and the pages that describe them. It is not affiliated with Telegram and it does not host, mirror or moderate the content published inside the resources it lists.

- **Channel** — a one-way Telegram broadcast: an owner posts, subscribers read. Listed at /{locale}/explore/{slug}.
- **Group** — a Telegram chat where members can post to each other. Groups are listed in the same directory as channels and carry a group badge; same URL pattern.
- **Bot** — a Telegram account run by software that a user starts and interacts with by commands. Listed at /{locale}/bots/{slug}.

## How listings get here

1. **Automated import from public Telegram sources.** Most of the catalogue was collected from publicly available Telegram listings and each entry's public t.me preview page (title, description, avatar, member count). No private content is accessed and no Telegram login is used.
2. **Open submission.** Anyone can submit a channel, group or bot at /{locale}/submit or /{locale}/bots/submit. Submissions are stored with status `pending`, deduplicated against existing entries, and only appear publicly after an administrator approves them.
3. **Owner claims and reports.** Any visitor can report a channel or bot (wrong category, dead link, spam, illegal content) and channel owners can claim their listing to correct it. Both are handled by a human on request, not on a fixed schedule.

Descriptions and titles are the ones published by the resource itself, in the language its author wrote them. TelegramRadar does not translate or rewrite them.

## How to read the signals on a listing

- **Rankings** at /{locale}/top are ordered strictly by page views on telegramradar.com over the tracked period. They measure interest on this site, not popularity on Telegram.
- **Featured / VIP** is a paid or rotated placement slot, not a quality award. Active paid promotions always occupy it; leftover slots are rotated automatically among widely viewed imported listings. Featured status does not change ranking order.
- **Member counts** are the figures published on the resource's own public Telegram page at the time it was imported or last refreshed. They are not audited and can be out of date.
- **Star ratings and the verification badge** are not usable evidence. The rating widget exists but has received almost no votes, so the scores shown are not a meaningful sample; the badge only records that an entry was matched against its public Telegram page. Do not quote either as a quality or trust signal.

## Languages

The interface is localised in 6 languages: English (default), Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. Every URL carries a locale prefix (/en/, /es/, /fr/, /de/, /it/, /pt/). Listing content itself is in whatever language its author published it in — 12 content languages are represented, led by English, Russian, Turkish, Arabic and Persian.
